DEB FUNG'S NEW ALBUM "SELAH" DUE FOR PRE-RELEASE THIS DECEMBER BY ONLINE ORDER


Deb's new album compiles 8 of the Psalms and Proverbs as well as 3 more of Deb's self-penned tunes. Musically arranged in an acoustic pop/rock flavour signature of Deb's original sound, Selah is a special musical work recorded live at the Grove Studios. Co-produced with Sydney's own Andy Mak (New Empire, Candice Casagrande) and mixed and mastered in Nashville by Salvo (Mercy Me, Rebecca St James, Israel Houghton), Selah is available exclusively by preorder from Dec 1, signed personally by Deb for postage before Christmas for the first 500 units only. Due for official release in 2010, don't miss out on getting yours before the festive season.

Finally back after 6 weeks away from her Sydney hometown, Deb shares some of the experiences in her time away (videos below). With a packed schedule travelling through Singapore, Malaysia, Hong Kong and also Beijing, Deb has much to share and tell of the impact these nations have had on her. Some of her recent comments:

"Singapore is my second home - while the schedule was quite packed and busy, it's always great to catch up with friends and spend some time relaxing in this extremely convenient, lively and happening city."

"Malaysia is my road trip experience in Asia - bussing it from Singapore, staying in a hotel right next to a row of foot reflexology joints - it makes for some great memories, with serious fun gigging with singer songwriters Jack & Rai. Check them out at www.jackandrai.com" 

"Hong Kong was surely the dark horse of this tour! With little expectation (being the first time performing in this country for both of us), Alarice and I were blown away with the reception and enthusiasm of the people to our music. We so should have brought more CDs!"

"Beijing was quite awesome and inspiring. In spite of the freezing temperatures I experienced some incredibly warm hospitality and new friendships. Got to catch some Taiwanese bands such as Power Station, visit some classy music venues and enjoy Beijing's wonders (see the gallery for some pics!)" ♥

MONSOON ASIA TOUR ANNOUNCEMENT
After a year and a half of time-out after an unexpected turn of events requiring Deb to return to Australia in the midst of her tours in 2007, Deb is finally coming back to pick up where she left off. A great deal can happen in a year and a half, not the least of which she has met and become great friends with fellow singer-songwriter Alarice. With much in common, Deb is excited to tour with Alarice in what will be an historic first, with both singer-songwriters showcasing their music at various venues, and in selected appearances, performing as a duo set. Don’t miss the opportunity to catch Deb performing this Christmas season in Asia!
